Once you reach the Masseria dating back to 1800, the tranquility and the beauty of nature will surround you. During the visit, you will discover all the traditions and the tastes that characterize the products obtained by the livestocks, visiting the barn, the dairy farm, the butchery and the cured meats laboratory.
Milk is the essential element for the production of aged cheese and fresh dairy products. On the other hand, fresh and cured meats are a real delight in which we discover the richness of flavors of the peasant simplicity.
During the spectacular “Mozzarella Show", a cheese maker will show the processing of dairy products and cheese and we will take part in the production of mozzarella, scamorza, ricotta, primosale and other types of cheese typical of Valle d'Itria. The visit to the Masseria and its production area will end with a tasting not only of the products created during the demonstration, but also of hearty dishes of the typical Apulian tradition.
