DESCRIPTION
Alberobello, in the heart of the “Murgia dei Trulli”, a World Heritage Site with its 1500 trulloes.
Visit to the Rione Monti, the oldest part the town, together with the Aia Piccola district, where Casa Pezzolla stands out, a complex of 15 communicating trulloes, today location of the “Museo del Territorio”, and the Trullo Sovrano, which hosts shows and concerts. Visit to the amazing Church of Sant'Antonio, the only trullo-shaped church in the world.
The experience will end with a visit to a Trullo, with its historic floor dating back to 1700, where we will taste typical products: jams and marmalade made with locally grown fresh fruit. Natural, genuine and healthy. We will taste cherry, prickly pear and fioroni (typical apulian fruit) jams on a slice of bread, and 3 Rosoli, the liqueurs of the past created in the Convents of the territory. Rosoli have low alcohol content, and are made with the flowers and fruits of our countryside, produced with traditional methods taken from ancient recipes.
